Another artificial wrackage around Nilaveli is so called “Bus station” where you can find many sunken busses and other artificial reef structures at the depth of 20 meters.

Mortar Rock/Angel Rock

A favourite among snorkelers and divers alike, Mortar Rock (also called Angel Rock) is home to some of the best corals in Nilaveli. A long stretch of untouched and thriving corals are bound to take your breath away at a depth as shallow as 8m. Snorkelers are often greeted by turtles and divers can see a range of reef fish. The dive site is best suited for beginners as well as experienced divers who would like to get a glimpse of the coral gardens that lie beneath.

Sithanane Pare

With a maximum depth of 18m, Seethanane Pare is a pinnacle consisting of big boulders and soft corals. Anemonefish and Moray eels can be found in abundance on this dive site along with a garden of Christmas Tree Worms which add beautiful colours to an already picturesque dive site.
